Who we are?

Patriot Cause is a 501(c)(3) charity that was incorporated on August 10 2021 with a mission to raise money and awareness for our local (Lorain County) Police, Fire/EMS and Military Patriots. Our goal is to establish “High Impact” events and ongoing donations that will raise a material amount of funds for these local Charities to truly make a difference and immediate impact.

Our first event was Patriot Appreciation Day, a “Thank You for Your Service” themed Fundraiser held in the afternoon of September 11, 2021 – marking the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. The event took place at Veterans Memorial Park located on the lake in Avon Lake, Ohio. The event included two outstanding local musicians/bands, top-rated food and ice cream trucks, and most importantly – Police, Fire, EMS, and Military Patriots who described the challenges and fulfillment they derived from doing their jobs. Additionally, Charity representatives explained how they supported these men and women who sacrificed their lives daily. Thanks to our generous sponsors and attendees, we raised over $24,000.

Patriot Cause and our Patriot Appreciation Day event has been featured on the Mike Trivisonno (WTAM 1100) radio show, WHK 1420 and in several local newspapers. We leveraged social media, signs, flyers, radio/print coverage and word of mouth to promote this event.

We are currently applying for an Ohio Gaming license so that we can deploy (1-2) Pull-Tab machines in local bars and convenience stores and please contact me if you know of an establishment that would like to sponsor a machine. Email Ken Markovich.
