SUPPORT OUR CITY'S Patriots.

Patriot Cause was founded on the principle of supporting our local police, firefighters and military by donating to established 501 (c)(3) charities through high-impact events and ongoing donations.

Who We are

Patriot Cause, an Ohio Non-profit organization was incorporated on August 10th 2021 with a mission to raise money and awareness for our local (Cleveland and suburbs) Police, Fire/EMS and Military Patriots by contributing to established 501(c)(3) Charities that support these Patriots.  Our goal is to establish “High Impact” events and ongoing donations that will raise a material amount of funds for these local Charites to truly make a difference and immediate impact.  We are committed to developing Patriot Cause into a significant Cleveland based fundraising Non-Profit, and where needed, assist in the development of new Patriot oriented Charity causes.  Our goal is to host an event every quarter annually.

Patriot Cause received it’s Non-Profit EIN on 8/11/21 and filed the EZ1023 for 501c3 status on 8/12/21.  When the organization receives its Letter of Exemption in the near future this status will be effective as of August 9, 20121 so that any donations made to Patriot Cause from August 9, 2021 will be tax deductible

Our first event is Patriot Appreciation Day “Thank You for Your Service” themed Fundraiser on the afternoon of September 11, 2021 – marking the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 and held at Veterans Memorial Park located on the lake in Avon Lake, Ohio. The event will include three outstanding local musicians/bands, top rated food and ice cream trucks and most importantly – Police, Fire, EMS and Military Patriots describing the challenges and fulfillment they derive from doing their jobs as well as Charity representatives explaining how they support these men and women that sacrifice their lives on a daily basis.

Patriot Cause and our Patriot Appreciation Day event has been featured on the Mike Trivisonno (WTAM 1100) radio show, will also be on WHK 1420 and in several local newspapers. We are leveraging social media, municipalities, flyers,  radio/print coverage and word of mouth to promote this event.

We are hoping to raise $50,000 through Ticket/donations, a Corporate Sponsorship Program and a 50/50 Raffle. All net proceeds will go to three local Patriot Charities:

This event is all about putting a spotlight on our Patriots that make tremendous sacrifices daily to keep us safe.   We are living in a complicated time – more frequently putting our Patriots in harm’s way to keep us safe, which requires our awareness, appreciation, and support.

We would like to thank Mayor Zilka, Tim Pinchek and Billy Morris for making this event a reality and our local Police, Fire and EMS Departments for supporting us.  We look forward for this to be the first of many more successful local Patriot Cause events.

Sincerely, Ken Markovich
