Who We are

Patriot Cause is a 501(c)(3) charity that was incorporated on August 10th 2021 with a mission to raise money and awareness for our local (Cleveland and suburbs) Police, Fire/EMS and Military Patriots by contributing to established 501(c)(3) Charities that support these Patriots.  Our goal is to establish “High Impact” events and ongoing donations that will raise a material amount of funds for these local Charites to truly make a difference and immediate impact.

Our first event was Patriot Appreciation Day, a “Thank You for Your Service” themed Fundraiser held in the afternoon of September 11, 2021 – marking the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. The event took place at Veterans Memorial Park located on the lake in Avon Lake, Ohio. The event included three outstanding local musicians/bands, top-rated food and ice cream trucks, and most importantly – Police, Fire, EMS, and Military Patriots who described the challenges and fulfillment they derived from doing their jobs. Additionally, Charity representatives explained how they supported these men and women who sacrificed their lives on a daily basis. Thanks to our generous sponsors and attendees, we raised over $20,000.
Patriot Cause and our Patriot Appreciation Day event has been featured on the Mike Trivisonno (WTAM 1100) radio show, will also be on WHK 1420 and in several local newspapers. We are leveraging social media, municipalities, flyers,  radio/print coverage and word of mouth to promote this event.

Our first event raised $20,000 and was all about putting a spotlight on our Patriots that make tremendous sacrifices daily to keep us safe.   We are living in a complicated time – more frequently putting our Patriots in harm’s way to keep us safe, which requires our awareness, appreciation, and support.

We would like to thank Mayor Zilka, Tim Pinchek and Billy Morris for making this event a reality and our local Police, Fire and EMS Departments for supporting us.  We look forward for this to be the first of many more successful local Patriot Cause events.

Sincerely, Ken Markovich
